May 21st, 2013 – New York, NY – Lane Office President Gregory F. Burke hosted two tables at Tuesday’s IIDANY Leader’s Breakfast. As Diamond Partners for IIDANY, Lane Office and DIRTT Environmental Solutions invited guests from Gensler Architects, TPG Architecture, MKDA, Quint Design, and Icon Interiors. The event focused on Disaster and Crisis Relief in the world of design, and construction, with inspiring speaker Cameron Sinclair, publish for Interior Design Magazine.

National Kidney Foundation Gala Kick-Off

February 6th, 2013 – New York, NY – Lane Office president Greg Burke attended the National Kidney Foundation’s Gala Kick-Off on Wednesday to help raise awareness for the non-profit’s “Gift of Life” event next month. The NKF’s mission is to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation. Fordham University Mass Service & Reception

January 12th, 2013 – Garden City, NY – Father Joseph M. McShane, S. J. ended the holiday season on Long Island with a mass at The Church of Saint Anne with many Garden City residents and alumnus of Fordham University in attendance. Monsignor Thomas Harold, Pastor of St. Anne’s concelebrated the mass in the St. Therese Chapel. As the 32nd President of Fordham, ironically, Father McShane shared that he was the only member of his large family who didn’t attend either Fordham Prep or Fordham University as an undergraduate. Following the mass, a reception was held at Garden City Country Club. Garden City residents Tom and Chris Ryan and Greg and Chris Burke planned the night.

Interior Design Hall of Fame 2012

November 28th, 2012 – New York, NY – Lane Office is proud to support Interior Design Magazine every year for their annual Hall of Fame. This year was no exception, with Lane and Gensler making a black tie appearance together at the Waldorf-Astoria in Manhattan. The Hall of Fame was established in 1985 by Interior Design to recognize the individuals who have made significant contributions to the growth and prominence of the design industry. Previous Hall of Fame inductees include legendary figures such as: Antonio Citterio, Clodagh, Thiery W. Despont, Frank Gehry, Albert Hadley, Andree Putman, David Rockwell, Lauren Rottet, Philippe Starck, and Robert A.M. Stern to name a few. The event included a VIP cocktail reception, a three course dinner, and inspiring speeches by this years inductees.

Lane Office Presents: Breathe™ Living Walls

November 13th, 2012 – New York, NY – Lane Office Presents Breathe™, a simple system for incorporating plants into DIRTT Walls. Breathe mounts to the tile layer of the wall, can be retrofitted on existing DIRTT walls, and mounted to any flat, vertical building surface: gypsum, concrete, stone, etc. It is scalable and easily expanded from one panel to a monolithic wall of plants. Designers can incorporate Breathe living walls, or interior plantscapes, to bring nature indoors and beautify and detoxify interior spaces. Lane Office Presents: Coalition for the Homeless

October 2012 – New York, NY – Lane Office is proud to sponsor Coalition for the Homeless‘ Grand Central Food Program for the month of October 2012. This mobile food pantry initiative helps to feed thousands of starving men, women, and children throughout New York City. Members of the Lane team have also volunteered their time well after business hours to help those less fortunate by serving food at St. Bart’s Church in midtown east and also by traveling in the vans that stop all over the city.

“It’s amazing how much you learn about these people,” says Lane Office President Gregory F. Burke. “And those that volunteer always say the same thing: ‘it’s a pleasure.’”

August 29th, 2012 – Chicago, IL – The Lane Office crew took over Chicago this summer at the DIRTT Green Learning Center on North Wells Street. President Gregory F. Burke brought a team of project managers, marketing, and sales representatives to the GLC, transformed to a Roaring Twenties festivity of food, drinks, and even an ice cream bar provided by Leopold’s Ice Cream. Lane enjoyed a week of fun, reconnecting, business development, and training by the very best at DIRTT Environmental Solutions.
