Lane Office Facilitates “Behind the Scenes” Hotel Tour for Students

NEW YORK, NY – January 25, 2010 – Lane Office President, Gregory F. Burke, arranged a “Behind the Scenes” tour of the Millenium Hilton for School of Visual Arts students on Monday. Jan H. Larsen, General Manager of the hotel, served as tour guide to eight undergraduate interior design students and their instructor, Lawrence Berger, RA, who is also a managing design director at TPG Architecture. The tour included guest rooms, banquet rooms, the kitchen, and back of house areas. The tour was scheduled as part of a hospitality assignment the students are completing this semester. Lane Office sponsored a reception at Church & Dey, the hotel restaurant, following the tour.

“We’re proud to support the architecture and design community. This was a great opportunity for students to gain a better understanding of hospitality design,” said Mr. Burke.
