  • JOB DESCRIPTION:

    OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:

    • Build and maintain lasting relationships with Commercial Real Estate Brokers, General Contractors, Architects & Designers, Landlords, Project Managers and new end users
    • Coordinate internal and external resources to educate client base
    • Stay current with company product offerings and industry trends

     

    DAILY AND MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Support and solve problems for clients by understanding and exceeding their expectations
    • Illustrate the value of products and services to create growth opportunities
    • Participate in brainstorming office activities, team meetings and client meetings, researching product trends with new prospects
    • Perform prospecting activities such as cold calling, networking, attending industry events, client meals/drinks, etc.
    • Follow up with clients regularly to ensure satisfaction as well as brand recognition; “out of sight, out of mind”

    • Develop and maintain client/customer relationships

  • POSITION SUMMARY:

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Oversee project implementation and execution through the completion of office build-out.
    • Define project scope by working with client and internal team to establish project-specific goals that meet client needs and ensure project success.
    • Ensure project scope and specific deliverables are understood by all parties involved and maintained through to project completion.
    • Develop a detailed project schedule, based on product lead times and construction timeline.
    • Publish project schedule to the external and internal team, and track progress on a weekly basis.
    • Manage project performance against goals, objectives, schedule, and milestones.
    • Identify and report variances from the schedule, then drive corrective actions to maintain a critical path.
    • Attend weekly OAC (Owner, Architect, Contactor) meetings for each project and reports pertinent updates and/or action items back to the internal project team.
    • Facilitate project kick-off meetings, and weekly huddle meetings with the internal project team to ensure responsibilities and deliverables are communicated and understood by all.
    • Develop scope of work for installation vendor.
    • Obtain labor quotes and analyze for accuracy. Present both labor pricing and project management hour estimate to internal team
    • Identify, manage and mitigate any potential project risks that could impact scope, schedule, budget, and/or quality.
    • Implement change management process to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders. Identify possible impacts of change requests on project scope and/ or schedule and communicate impact/ best path forward to client and project team.
    • Manage coordination with Landlords and Property Managers to ensure insurance requirements are met, and building access is approved.
    • Complete site verification to ensure conditions are conducive to and compatible with furniture delivery/ installation.
    • Perform pre-installation site walk with the lead installer to ensure scope and specific deliverables are fully understood, including performance standards.
    • Oversee furniture installation and provide detailed updates to the client.
    • Complete punch walks with a client. Document publish and track punch items through to completion.
    • Assume complete responsibility for assignments and is accountable for ensuring projects are executed to client’s expectations.
    • Able to communicate and present strongly to the Executive level team within an organization.
    • Maintain flexibility with work hours and travel as needed.

  • Provide day-to-day support to the project management department and sales representatives by fielding questions, troubleshooting issues, and modeling best practices. Work closely with management to foster ongoing process development and improvement

    • Create client proposals to include new customer set up, entry/import of specifications, and pricing
    • Generate purchase orders upon receipt of complete order entry packet
    • Ensure orders are entered promptly and reviewed for accuracy and completeness before being sent to the manufacturers/vendors
    • Work with vendors and internal project teams to reconcile acknowledgment discrepancies and manage timely ship dates based on project requirements
    • Create and publish customer status reports
    • Coordinate delivery/install dates with vendors, Operations, clients, and Project Managers (depending on work scope)
    • Assist with project management tasks, including spec checks and punch ID/resolution
    • Participate in vendor and dealer training programs and activities for ongoing professional growth and development

  • POSITION SUMMARY:

    The successful candidate(s) will join a fast paced and dynamic team working closely with the Falkbuilt NY division.  You will interpret architectural designs as specified within project sketches, architectural drawings or models and realize those designs in both 2D and 3D formats.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Promote and share our considerable Falkbuilt strengths with existing and potential clients
    • Help define project scope and objectives with all relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility
    • Meet with clients to create detailed visual and written communication to clarify specific requirements
    • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
    • Use Revit with a Falkbuilt-specific add-in to draft design drawings including renderings, 3D models, flythroughs, and submittal drawings.
    • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
    • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
    • Manage and execute design assignments in a timely manner and meet milestones and deadlines
    • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
    • Evaluate site conditions and constraints for construction projects
    • Provide regular project status updates to the team

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience with Revit required – SketchUp, Enscape, and Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred
    • Experience with Revit model management – loading families, Revit versioning, Revit model saving/sharing best practices.
    • Experience reviewing submittal drawing packages for architectural coordination
    • Experience translating sketches and CAD/Revit documents into realized 3D models and images

    • Able to research solutions to either artistic, or technical issues when they arise

  • POSITION SUMMARY:

    Responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements. You will run accounting software programs to process business transactions.  The successful candidate should be familiar with all accounting procedures and be confident with numbers.  Ultimately, he/she will ensure that the company’s daily accounts receivable functions run accurately and effectively.  This includes timely billing of customers, depositing of funds received and proper recording in the general ledger.

    We are currently seeking a Commercial Furniture Designer / Specifier. The successful candidate will join our growing and dynamic team and be part of a collaborative culture.  In this skilled role, the candidate will work directly with Account Executives, Project Managers, Interior Designers/Architects and clients along with a multitude of contract furniture manufacturers.

    To be considered for this position, you should have minimum 3 years relevant experience and a strong understanding of standard industry software (AutoCAD, CAP 2020 and CET). We seek a highly motivated and confident individual with a strong desire to take ownership of their work and work in a fast-paced environment.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Expertise in Industry Software (AutoCAD, CET, DWG, CAP2020)
