COVID-19 Response

COVID-19 GUIDELINES & MITIGATION PLAN

The health and safety of individuals is our top priority. As part of the ongoing COVID-19 public health emergency and in preparation for a return to on-site construction work, we are implementing broad health and safety measures with our employees, in accordance with information published by the New York City Department of Health and New York City Department of Buildings, based on guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other publications.

Educating our employees on the latest guidance from health and government authorities regarding COVID-19 best practices and recommendations for mitigating the spread of COVID-19 is of the utmost importance to combating the disease:

1. Symptoms of COVID-19

  • Fever
  • Sore Throat
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath

2. Employees showing symptoms of COVID-19 or known to be currently infected with COVID-19 will not be permitted to enter a jobsite or our office space and will be sent home immediately

  • Remain home until at least three (3) days have passed since recovery from fever symptom
  • Remain home until at least seven (7) days have passed since symptoms first appeared

3. Employee good health practices

  • Washing hands frequently for 20-seconds with soap and water.  If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based sanitizer
  • Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing with a tissue.  If a tissue is not readily available, use the bend of your arm
  • Practice social/physical distancing of at least 6-feet from other people
  • Do not touch your face, specifically, eyes, nose and mouth
  • If feeling any symptoms of COVID-19, do not report to work or jobsite
  • Immediately report any contact with or proximity to individuals later recognized as a COVID-19 Positive Patient

4. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided, including masks to cover nose and mouth, and must be worn if proper social/physical distance cannot be maintained

5. Regularly clean and disinfect frequently touched objects, surfaces, tools and equipment shared by individuals

Our employees are working remotely and without interruption to their usual functions. Our company operates on a cloud-based system with Remote Desktop access from any computer with an internet connection. We are available as usual, via email or cell phone, and have been conducting virtual meetings. Upon re-opening and when reasonable, our plan is to institute an office workforce presence at reduced capacity, with employees alternating days between reporting to the office and working remotely.
