Among family, my banana bread

Who is your hero?

My great aunt Nancy, whom we all lovingly called “Mother”. She was the anchor that held the family together, up until she passed at the age of 103 in 2013.

Why did you join Lane Office?

I had just left a high-stress job; Lane was perfect for me to be part of a tight-knit family of professionals, without the pressure I was used to.

What are you most proud of?

I’m most proud of my kids. They’re all good people (mostly).

Tell me one fun or interesting fact about yourself…

I love anything related to the arts. At one point I aspired to be a film editor. While working in the casting department of the advertising firm DDB, I got to know a few film editors, which piqued my interest in that profession. I also took several classes on the same at SVA.

What is your favorite pastime or hobby?

Reading: as far back as I can remember, my family’s home library encompassed a wide range of books ranging from biographies, classics, fiction, history, science, theology, etc. Music: violin and piano lessons starting at age 8. Baking: I studied pastry arts at the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE).
